The name of this area "Il Mulino" (The Mill) has an historical origin. Indeed in this area there were three mills.
The water for their operations was taken from locality "Mulino di Puglianella" and flow to the mills through a channel-
Some findings bear witness to their historical existence, including these two millstones for which it is possible to see the mechanism to adjust their speed.
