The wish to walk can be fulfilled by wonderful walks with views of beautiful landscapes.

Paths, Walking:
Isola - Roccalberti.
Isola - Poggio.
Isola - Ferriera.
Isola - dam of Vagli - Careggine.
Isola - Puglianella.

Walks from Isola to Roccalberti
After a few steps you through the "Fosso Delle Lame" ("Canale Agneta", Agneta Water Course) which flows into the river Edron.
Along these water courses it's possible to see the plant of the Salicone, "Goat Willow" or "Salix caprea", also known as the Pussy Willow or Great Sallow, in this area "Salicone", on which they grow the branches known, in this area as "vette", used to create baskets, "canestri", chairs.
This plant is different from the plant of "Vetrice", which lives only along the watercourses and whose branches are known as "wicker". Instead the plan of the "Goat Willow" is growing everywhere. Along the way it is, in association with a fork , a Maestaina (mestaina), La Madonna della Tosse ("Madonna of the Cough"), placed on a path where once we did the rogazioni.
Here we are in "Le Vigne" ("The Vineyards").

Shortly after, on the left side, on rocky coasts ofiolitiche, not visible (see route map ) there is a ruin of a Metato seat of an ancient legend (The legend of figs).
On the right you see, just below the locality Upaola and, somewhat in the distance the village of Poggio at the foot of the hill of La Capriola.


Take a left, go up a little, the view is reopened.
Here you can see very well the mountain of Pania di Corfino .

We find the cemetery of Roccalberti.
Some vineyards.
Continue for two hundred meters on the paved road and arrive at Roccalberti.


Walks from Isola to Poggio
Take the road leading to the river Edron, cross the river with the help of the small bridge that we built.

Along an old hatchery fish now abandoned.
At some point the road branches off, on the right we reach the asphalt road.

Continue on the left and walk a part of the Via Vandelli
It is still known today its particular structure made of stones.

We arrive at Poggio a 'Nupaola.

Continue for a further three hundred meters, we reach the asphalt road, a little climb and we arrived at Poggio

Walks from Isola to Ferriera
There are two ways:

• if you want to go by car:
  Take the road that leads to the main road (the road that leads from Poggio to Vagli).
  Cross the bridge, after two turns up on the right is a dirt road down a few meters are the locations Ferriera;
• if you walk:
  There is a small trail just before the bridge over the river Edron between abandoned houses. After a few steps there is a crossroads, go left. Shortly after arriving at the location on the opposite side of the bridge compared to the first path.

Walks from Isola to the dam of the lake of Vagli, after to Careggine
Let's go back on the main road (the one from Poggio a Vagli) and take in the direction of Vagli.
After 700 meters on the left is a small asphalted road recently.
We still 1500 meters to reach the dam of Vagli. We are on the opposite side from the road that leads to Vagli.
Continuing in this way to reach 300 meters in the village Vergaia.
The road continues up to Careggine; forward with a suv or on foot in 40 minutes. Along it the view of the lake and views of the Apuan Alps  

Walks from Isola to Puglianella
Just before the bridge over the river Edron there is a small path between the houses abandoned.
After a few steps there is a crossroads, go right. Going this route for about 20 minutes to reach Puglianella.
